Frederick Ivor-Campbell 19th Century Base Ball Conference

The 16th annual SABR Frederick Ivor-Campbell 19th Century Base Ball Conference will be held on April 25-26, 2025, at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. All baseball fans are welcome to attend.

The 2025 conference will be highlighted by a keynote address from author Richard Hershberger, along with a panel discussion on the National Association with Alan Cohen, Bob Tiemann, Bob Tholkes, and moderator Bill Ryczek; a 19th-century artifact session with Robert Mayer, Gary Passamonte, and Jonathan Popovich; a Member Spotlight interview of Andrew North by Dave Newman; plus research presentations.

• Cost: Conference registration is $45 per person. Tickets for the optional Friday evening Welcoming Dinner ($85) and Saturday evening Post-Conference Gathering ($85), both held at the Farmers Museum, can also be purchased in advance for you or a guest. Lunch on Friday and Saturday is on your own in “America’s Perfect Village” of Cooperstown.
• Optional Dining Events: Friday and Saturday’s optional dinners will take place at the Farmers Museum’s Main Barn, 5775 NY 80 (Lake Street), which is approximately 1.1 miles on NY 80 east from the traffic light on Main Street in Cooperstown. The last 1/3-mile on NY 80 lacks a sidewalk, so driving is recommended.
